Two men charged with aggravated robbery

YOUNGSTOWN — Police charged two men with aggravated burglary after entering a South Side home, threatening the occupants and refusing to leave.

Harold Reeder, 29, of Marion Avenue, and Charles Scott, 27, of Roslyn Drive, are to be arraigned Friday in Youngstown Municipal Court. Police arrested them at a Lakeview Drive home early this morning.

According to reports, Reeder and Scott went to the home to visit, then returned claiming to have left personal items behind.

Two people at the home told police the men refused to leave, saying they were looking for something that belongs to them.

The home’s residents said the men threatened to shoot the dog and occupants of the house if they did not get what they were looking for inside the house.

Police said they could hear the two men searching the home when they arrived. Officers called for a police dog to search the house and found the two men inside.
