Parents announce date for Filimon-Barca wedding

The engagement of Stephanie Anne Filimon, 603 Raymond Drive, and Marc Anthony Barca, 529 Grace Ave., and plans for their upcoming marriage are announced by their parents.

Miss Filimon is a daughter of Terrence and Sandra Filimon, of the same address, and Mr. Barca is a son of Lawrence and Maria Barca, 253 Jean Drive.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 1 p.m. ceremony May 1 in St. Patrick Church. The open wedding will be followed that evening by a reception by invitation at The Radisson in West Middlesex, Pa.

The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in secondary education. She is a dance instructor with J and J’s Dance Depot.

The future groom earned a business degree in general administration and is employed by Cocca Development in Boardman.
