WARREN
Members of Warren Junior Women’s League/GFWC are making plans for the organization’s first “Taste of Trumbull” fundraiser.
Candlelite Knolls in Cortland is donating the facility for the culinary event, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. April 28.
A variety of restaurants in Trumbull County will be participating in the event. Among them will be Sunrise Inn, which will present tastes of the inn’s signature cajun chicken alfredo and homemade cheesecakes.
Guests will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite dishes, and awards will be presented in a number of categories.
Proceeds from the tasteful event will be donated to the Life Enriching Activities Program, a summer enrichment program for handicapped young adults in Trumbull County. A video presentation of the program will be shown at the culinary event.
Tickets are $25 each or tables for eight can be reserved for $240.
