Benefit dinner

A spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction have been planned for Sunday as a benefit for Jordan Marsh, 8, of Girard, who has only one kidney, has been diagnosed with rheumatic heart disease and is awaiting surgery.

Mandy Marsh, a single mother of four children, has had to quit attending school and her job to care for her son

The fundraiser will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at Girard Eagles Club, 26 W. Wilson Ave., and will include a 50-50 drawing and bake sale. Dinners will be $7, and all contributions will go toward the youngster’s mounting medical expenses.
