“Guys and Dolls,” Stage Left Players will have auditions from 5 to 9 p.m. April 25 and 6 to 9 p.m. April 26 by appointment. Seeking a cast of 30-36 men and women of all ages to play gamblers, hot-box dolls and missionaries. Auditioners should prepare a short, 32-bar musical selection and provide sheet music if music is not from the show. Accompaniment will be provided. MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra, Tri-C Metropolitan Campus Auditorium, downtown Cleveland. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello and bass), substitute brass and percussion for the 2009-10 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 p.m. Thursdays.
