Dance lessons for high schoolers
BOARDMAN
USA Dance will offer free ballroom dance lessons for high school students from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday and also March 20 and 27, at Boardman High School. Dances will include Cha Cha, Salsa, East Coast Swing, Waltz and Tango. Participants must be current Mahoning, Columbiana or Trumbull county high school students. Advance registration is required. Class size is limited to the first 100 couples who mail in their signed registration form, which can be picked up at any high school office or downloaded from usadance2015.com.
Lecture focuses on cancer-cell case

Rebecca Skloot will speak about her book “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” at 7 p.m. Monday at Hiram College’s Kennedy Center Ballroom. Lacks, a poor Southern tobacco farmer, had cancerous cells taken from her without her knowledge or consent.
The cells have since proven to be the first “immortal” human cells grown in culture. The cells are still alive today, though Lacks has been dead for more than 60 years.

‘Wizard of Oz’ coming to Heinz Hall
PITTSBURGH
The national touring production of “The Wizard of Oz” is coming to Heinz Hall for six performances March 30 to April 4.
The production, based on the Royal Shakespeare Company’s celebration of the 1939 MGM movie, includes elaborate special effects.
