GOOD MORNING
GOOD MORNING
Elton John mania
The May 1 show at the Covelli Centre won’t be Valley residents’ only chance to get their Elton John fix in 2010, it turns out.
Whether serendipity or just plain good luck, the music of the “Rocket Man” also will be featured Oct. 23 at the Edward W. Powers Auditorium during the John D. and Dorothy B. Ford Pops Series. The Youngstown Symphony’s tribute to John, “Madman Across The Water,” also will feature guest artists and the Dana Chorale performing “Daniel,” “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me” and other hits.
So, if you are a fan eager to hear “Your Song,” and you miss out on a chance to get tickets for the May 1 Covelli show when they go on sale Friday, your next-best bet is to call (330) 744-0264 for tickets to the Oct. 23 show.
