WARREN

Police arrested six boys over the weekend in four apparently unrelated incidents.

A Linden Avenue Northeast woman told police at about 9:30 p.m. Friday that someone broke into her house and took a purse, computer, computer monitor, guitar, safe, game system and bicycle — total value of $3,000.

Police later arrested a 14-year-old Charles Avenue Northeast boy after a neighbor spotted him and two other boys coming out of the window of a house on Linden, near the victim’s home.

On Saturday afternoon, police were called to Mahoning Avenue and Atlantic Street regarding three juveniles who had thrown rocks at a car crossing the Summit Street bridge at around 3:20 p.m., denting and scratching the vehicle.

The driver of the car, 38, said the three boys ran toward Perkins Park after throwing the rocks. He and two passengers chased the boys on foot.

One of the victims, 22, caught a 16-year-old Fifth Street Southwest boy near the east side of the bridge, but the suspect punched the victim in the eye and ran to Prospect Street, where police took him into custody.

The other boys were not captured.

Police also arrested a 15-year-old Oregon Avenue boy Sunday evening after the boy kicked a door, which hit his mother in the arm.

The incident occurred at 6:35 p.m., two hours after the boy was arrested by Warren police in connection with calling in a false alarm to 911. In the call, the boy said his neighbor had been stabbed.

Police also arrested three boys on Red Fox Run Northwest Saturday after a woman living in the Jamestown Village Apartments said the boys broke into her car at about 6:30 p.m.
