Parents announce plans for Serenko, Ruminski wedding

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Charles and Carol Serenko, 10361 Unity Road, and Frank and Christine Ruminski, 9837 Deltona Drive, are announcing the engagement of their children, Catherine Serenko and Thomas Ruminski, both of 1263 Brockley Ave., Lakewood.

The couple have planned an open wedding for 2 p.m. Sept. 4 at St. Paul the Apostle Church. Invitations will be send for a reception at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.

The bride-elect and her fianc graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor’s degrees, hers in nursing and his in civil engineering.

Miss Serenko is a registered nurse with University Hospital Case Medical Center in Cleveland. Mr. Ruminski is a project engineer with Gilbane Building Co. in Cleveland, and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Cleveland State University.
