Christa Thomas, Gregory Blasko to wed Sept. 25

CARMEL, Ind.

The engagement of Christa Michele Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene J. Thomas of Carmel, and Gregory Franklin Blasko, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael S. Blasko of Boardman, is announced by her parents.

The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. She is employed by The Cafaro Company as marketing director of the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles.

The prospective groom is a foreman with Simon Roofing in Boardman.

The couple will be married in an open ceremony they have planned for 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for their reception that evening at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Hall in Youngstown.
