4339 AARP

Austintown Chapter 4339, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road. Blood pressure screenings will be available at 12:30. Anna Fear will present the program featuring the Noteables directed by Sue Mayerchek. Tickets will be available for $12 for the spring luncheon on May 11 at The Manor on Kirk Road. Donations for a nursing home project will be accepted. Members should pay dues at the March meeting to remain on the roster. Guests are welcome.

GOLDEN PILLARS

An 11 a.m. liturgy will precede Tuesday’s meeting of the Golden Pillars at noon at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave. Eleanor Hnat will preside. Members are asked to take a place setting for the luncheon.

J.C.PENNEY

J.C. Penney Retirees will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s Restaurant in Boardman.

K.C.-ETTES

K.C.-Ettes of Poland will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the K. of C. Hall for an Easter Basket project. Cards will be played. Hostesses will be Theresa Dattilo, Mary Kamara and Mary Iarussi.

LOCAL 880 RETIREES

UFCW Local 880 Retirees Club will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cafe 422, Youngstown Road, Warren, for a St. Patrick’s Day luncheon. Reservations are required. The April 13 meeting will be 10 a.m. at Lucianno’s Restaurant in Austintown. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month. All Local 880 retirees are welcome. Mahoning Bank Retirees will meet for a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holiday Inn South in Boardman. All retirees are welcome.

MARTHA LUPSE

Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Lurana Cowher will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. MOUNT CARMEL

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will meet Wednesday following the noon Mass. John Mascardine will preside, and reports will be given by Clara Pascale and Ann Leone. Lunch will be served, and birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. There will be a 50-50 drawing, and cards and bingo will be played. Guests are welcome.

POLICE/FIRE RETIREES

Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Brandywine Clubhouse, 3390 Flo-Lor Drive. All retirees and DROP participants of the Ohio Police and Fire Disability and Pension Fund in Mahoning and Columbiana counties, their spouses or survivors, are welcome. St. Anthony Senior Club will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at DeMarinis Hall. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch for the noon meal. Dessert and coffee will be provided.

ST. BRENDAN

St. Brendan Seniors will meet at Maxwell Hall at 1:30 p.m. Monday with Dorothy LaSasso presiding. Ann Banyots and Dorothy Prochek will give reports. Membership dues of $5 will be collected. ST. CHARLES

St. Charles Over-55 will meet at noon Tuesday in the social hall, weather permitting. Cake, coffee and tea will be served, and cards and board games will be played. St. Joseph Goldenagers of Austintown will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lyons Hall with Evelyn Menaldi presiding. The thought for the day will be read by Carol McClain. Bingo and cards will be played, there will be a 50-50 raffle, and birthdays and anniversaries will be honored. Dessert will be served, and get-well cards will be sent. Dues of $5 are payable. Membership is open; meetings are the second Thursday of each month.

ST. ROSE

St. Rose Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Amen Corner for coffee and pizza.

SAXON

Saxon Retirees will meet at noon Thursday at the ballroom on Meridian Road. The cost of the pork chop dinner is $8.
