Join McKeever Environmental Learning Center, 55 McKeever Lane, at 7 p.m. Friday for a viewing of the movie “Planet Earth-The Future” in the center’s Roy Wilt Auditorium.

The movie will feature discussions with experts on whether there is an extinction crisis and will examine the reasons behind the declining numbers of particular animals.

If you are between age 2 and 5, bring an adult to the center at 2 p.m. March 16 to explore the natural world. This program will focus on insects and what insects do to survive during the colder months.

This program will start in the Discovery Building and may include a short walk around the center looking for signs insects left behind. Dress for the weather.

At 10 a.m. March 20, get outdoors for a leisurely paced winter hike through the woods. Meet in front of the dining hall dressed for the weather. Wear sturdy footwear.
