Church is chosen for Jilg-Danks May wedding

The engagement of Amanda Louise Jilg, 10506 Gilbert Road, Newton Falls, and Colin Charles Danks, 6609 Country Ridge Drive, Austintown, is being announced by the couple and their parents.

The bride-to-be is a daughter of Michael Jilg, 33098 Trappers Trail, Cortland, and Phyllis Jilg, 2043 Palm Ave., Warren. Parents of the future groom are Paul and Susan Danks of the Country Ridge Drive address.

The couple have chosen Old North Church of Canfield for their open wedding at 2:30 p.m. May 29. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

Miss Jilg studied psychology at Evangel University in Springfield, Mo. She is an assistant manager at Payless Shoe Source in NIles.

Mr. Danks is a packer with Vinyl Profiles Inc. in North Jackson. He attended Mahoning County Career and Technical Center in Canfield where he studied construction and remodeling.
