Ammeen 50th is celebrated on anniversary

BESSEMER, Pa.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ammeen of Bessemer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 27, having been married on that date in 1960 in St. Anthony Church.

They will continue the anniversary celebration during a trip to Disney World in April and to Kelly’s Island in August.

Their family includes Edward and Debbie Ammeen of Alexandria, Va., and Mary Kay and John Gordon of Hubbard. They have three grandsons and one granddaughter.

Mr. Ammeen retired from Baker’s Shoe Store in Southern Park Mall, and Mrs. Ammeen retired from Williams-Cleaveland Co. in New Castle, Pa. They are members of Christ the King Church.

Mrs. Ammeen crochets caps for chemo patients and blankets for Warm Up America.
