St. Pius Church, 1401 Moncrest Ave., Warren: “Lenten Night of Reflection” is scheduled for 6 p.m. March 14 at the church. The Rev. Gerard Gonda of St. Andrew Abbey in Cleveland will speak on “Listening: The Value of Silence and the Need to Listen.” Refreshments and fellowship will follow in the social hall. St. John’s Episcopal Church, 226 W. State St., Sharon: A Lenten meditation and recital is planned Tuesday with a carillon at noon followed by a musical presentation by violinsts Jonathan and Mary Moser. He is director of music at Providence Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh and she is on the adjunct faculty at Grove City College, Grove City, Pa. A light lunch will follow in Allen Hall.
