Chaney High School Class of 1959 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s Restaurant. Guests are welcome.

Pharmacist to speak

CORTLAND

Lake Vista Retirement Community, 303 N. Mecca St., has scheduled a breakfast at the lake for 9:30 a.m. March 15 at the clubhouse.

The speaker will be Susan Riggle, consultant pharmacist, whose topic will be “Medications and You.”

Guests are invited for a cup of coffee, free continental breakfast and the program. Reservations are to be made by Thursday at (330) 638-2420.

Souper competition scheduled at church

Family Promise of Mahoning Valley will sponsor its 2nd annual soup cookoff from noon to 4 p.m. March 20 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3020 Reeves Road. Admission will be $7 for adults and $5 for children

Celebrity judges will select the best soups in three categories, professional, nonprofessional and clergy. Those attending will choose a soup for the People’s Choice Award.
