Boy Scout’s hold double Eagle Scout ceremony

Troop 25 of the Boy Scouts of America held a double Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Nathan Metze and Kasey Conricote Wednesday at Canfield United Methodist Church on Broad Street.
Metze is an eighth-grader at Canfield Village Middle School, member of Canfield United Methodist Church and has participated as a scout for six years. He has earned 22 merit badges and is in his second term as Quartermaster for the troop.
For his Eagle Scout service project, Metze planned, designed, coordinated and supervised building of a display case for the Canfield Village Middle School’s Bands grades five through eight. The Eagle Scout challenge was given by his eighth-grade history teacher, Kenneth Reel.
Conricote is a sophomore at Canfield High School, member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and has participated as a scout for nine years. He has earned 21 merit badges and has been a Patrol Leader, Historian and Quartermaster for his troop.
For his Eagle Scout service project, Conricote planned, designed, coordinated and supervised building a display case for vintage Lionel Train sets at the War Vet Museum in Canfield. The challenge was given to Conricote by George Grimm, a fellow Eagle Scout.
