CMHS Alumni Association to present award at banquet
CAMPBELL
Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association will have its fourth annual spring banquet April 24 at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church Parish Center, 401 12th St.
Doors will open for a social at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6. Atty. Brian Macala will be master of ceremonies.
A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the first annual Distinguished Alumnus Award to a male or female graduate who has achieved a successful career, made life better for those in the community and has brought honor and distinction to the school.
Candidates for the award may be nominated by anyone, and there is no limit to the number of nominations.
Nomination letters should include the name of the nominee, contact information, year of graduation, a brief career resume, and a note telling why the candidate deserves the award.
The letter should be marked to the attention of the alumni award committee and mailed to Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association, 280 Sixth St., Campbell, OH 44405 by March 24.
Each nominee attending the dinner will receive a certificate and will be introduced. during a countdown to the winner, who will receive a plaque in recognition of the honor.
