Date announced for Bannon-Flis summer rite

COLUMBUS, Ga.

Kelin A. Bannon and Jonathan R. Flis, both of Columbus, Ga., are announcing their engagement and plans for their summer wedding.

The bride-elect, a daughter of Janet Bannon of New Middletown and Robert Bannon of Boardman, graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in communications. She is employed by Qantum Radio Station of Auburn, Ala.

The future groom, a son of Jane Flis of Columbus, Ga., and Robert Flis of Poland, is employed by the U.S. Army at Fort Benning, Ga.

The couple are planning to be married in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Aug. 21 at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and for a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.
