The parents of Erica Lynn Jenkins and Steven Ross McConnell, both of Warren, are announcing their engagement.

She is the daughter of Laura Francis of Cortland, and he is the son of James and Marsha McConnell of Irondale.

The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is a self-employed business owner.

The prospective groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is employed as a systems analyst at Benefit Management Services of Ohio.

The couple will be married in a Sept. 11 ceremony in Toronto, Ohio, and a reception will take place in Boardman. Invitations will be issued for both.
