Niles SCOPE Center, 14 E. State St., Niles, has scheduled the following: Monday, bridge at 10 a.m., Arthritis Foundation exercise program ($1) at 11, quilting and cards at 1 p.m., cards and lunch ($2) at 4, and TOPS at 5; Tuesday, square dancing ($3) at 9:30, luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. ($3 members and $4 nonmembers), arthritis aerobics class at 12:30 p.m. ($1); and pinochle at 2:30; Wednesday, chair yoga at 10 a.m., luncheon ($3 members and $4 nonmembers) at 11:30, bingo and Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m. and cards at 2:30; Thursday, line dancing at 9:30 a.m., lunch ($3 for members and $4 for nonmembers) at 11:30, bowling, bridge or pinochle at 1 p.m.; and Friday, free art class at 10 a.m., arthritis exercise program ($1) at 11, sandwich/salad lunch ($2) at 11:30, Wii games at noon and card games at 1 p.m. Reservations are being accepted for the following trips: Cleveland Harbor for Tall Ships Review, July 8; and to Asheville, N.C., Biltmore Estate and Cherokee Harrah’s Casino, Sept 13-16. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 8:30 a.m.; chair yoga class at 10 and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting, Low Vision Support Group at Park Vista at 10, computer class at 10 and noon, Digital Club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m. and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and Woodcarvers at 9 a.m., line dancing at 1 p.m. and beginner line dancing at 2; and Friday, board games and parties. The center will close July 2 in observance of July 4th. Social workers will be at the center to help with senior issues free of charge.
