MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, June 30: Beef and pepper patty with gravy, mashed potatoes, harvard beets, rye bread with margarine, peaches (unsweetened available) and milk.

Thursday, July 1: Chicken a la king, broccoli cuts, yam patty with glaze, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits and milk.

Friday, July 2: Jumbo hot dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, baked beans, whole kernel corn, apple juice and milk.

Saturday, July 3: Cold cuts sandwich with mustard and mayonnaise, celery with ranch dressing, apple, grape juice and milk.

Monday, July 5: Closed for the holiday. Meals will be delivered July 2.

Tuesday, July 6: Chicken salad on a bun, three-bean salad, applesauce, vanilla pudding (unsweetened available), grape juice and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Thursday, July 1: Chicken a la king, broccoli, glazed yam patty, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits and milk.

Friday, July 2: Super dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, baked beans, corn, apple juice and milk.

Monday, July 5: Closed for the holiday.

Tuesday, July 6: Chicken salad, three-bean salad, wheat bread with margarine, grape juice, mandarin oranges (unsweetened available) and milk.
