Newton Falls 911 emergency phone system down

Newton Falls Police Department is experiencing difficulties with its 911 system.

A spokesman said the department is unsure how long the system will be down and is asking anyone with an emergency call to phone either 330-872-5757 or 330-872-5758. 

The department will notify the public when problem, which has not yet been idientified, is fixed.
