Chief: Jackson FOP is not soliciting money

Ken Frost, Jackson Township Police Chief, wants to inform residents that calls claiming to be the township’s Fraternal Order of Police asking for money are a scam.

Frost said a handful of residents called the station Thursday letting him know they’d received phone calls from someone who said they were with the Jackson Township FOP.

“I wanted to let people know that the police department is not soliciting donations,” he said.

Frost said any resident who has received a similar call should contact him at 330-538-3093.
