State patrol seeks driver who struck and killed teen


WARREN

The Ohio State Patrol said a 19-year-old Leavittsburg man was struck and killed by a car on Center World South Road in Braceville Township at 12:55 a.m. today.

Police said Luke Macaluso was walking southbound on the road just south of state Route 5 with his girlfriend, Brittany Russell, 18, of Warren, when a southbound car struck and killed him. Russell wasn’t injured.

Police said the car fled the scene. It was described as a light-colored vehicle with rectangular tail lights. It had what appeared to be a luggage rack mounted n the trunk lid and has a damaged or missing right outside mirror.
