2 new trustees named at YSU


YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University has two new trustees.

Gov. Ted Strickland today announced that Delores Crawford, of Youngstown, community affairs director of WKBN, has been named to fill a regular nine-year spot on the board of trustees, and Ryan Meditz of Canfield has been named a student trustee, a two-year term.

Crawford joined the WKBN staff in 2005 and hosts the community affairs broadcast “Sunday Morning with Dee” that airs each Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

Crawford serves on numerous community committees and boards. She is vice president of the Mahoning County Library, chairman of the Community Development Committee of First National Bank of Pennsylvania and a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council.

She is the past human-services director of the Mahoning County Department of Job and Family Services/Child Support Agency and was the minority coordinator for the Youngstown State University Center for Urban Studies.
