Small Ships Revue at The Lube

Sharon, PA

The 30th annual Small Ships Revue will shove off from Quaker Steak & Lube on Friday.

The pre-party will begin at 3 p.m. at The Lube, with the pre-launch parade through downtown Sharon at 6 p.m.

The ships and their crews will make their way to the Shenango River with launch time set for 7 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place as well as in other categories such as most unique and most patriotic.

A panel of local celebrities will be on hand to do the judging.

Mixed martial-arts fighter Anderson Silva, the middleweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championships, will be the VIP guest. He will appear at The Lube from 6-8 p.m.

The Small Ships Revue is a “build your own boat — anything that floats” regatta.

Jimmy Buffett tribute band Fins to the Left and Pipedreams will provide live music, beginning at 8 p.m.

A fireworks display will begin at 10:15 p.m.
