Sharon Regional gets $1M for new tech center in Hermitage

HERMITAGE, Pa. — Sharon Regional Health System received a $1 million state grant to construct a technology center at Hermitage LindenPointe Innovative Business Campus on state Route 18.

The grant was awarded from Pennsylvania’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program through the joint efforts of state Sen. Bob Robbins of Greenville, Pa., R-50th, and state Rep. Mark Longietti of Farrell, Pa., D-7th, officials said.

Sharon Regional said it plans to build the 5,000-square-foot technology facility adjacent to the Training & Workforce Development Center and the site of the future Technology Center of Excellence Incubator facility.
