August nuptials set by Stacie Davis and Brian Hoover

Stacie L. Davis and Brian M. Hoover, both of Boardman, are announcing their plans to be married this summer in an open wedding at First Covenant Church.

The bride-to-be, a daughter of Thomas and Kathleen Davis, also of Boardman, graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She works for Canfield School District as an education management information system coordinator.

The prospective groom, son of William and Nancy Hoover of McDonald, graduated magna cum laude from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s in educational administration. He teaches seventh-grade students at Canfield Village Middle School, where he also is a ski club adviser and track coach.

After the couple’s wedding at 2 p.m. Aug. 7, a reception for invited guests will take place that evening at Antone’s Banquet Center.
