Rebecca Velt and Gregory Speece, both of North Jackson, are engaged and are planning a November wedding, her parents announce.

The bride-to-be is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Velt of Hilliard, and the prospective groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Speece of North Jackson.

Ms. Velt earned a bachelor’s degree in biological science from Ohio State University.

Mr. Speece is employed by Cohen & Company in Youngstown as a staff accountant. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Youngstown State University.

The couple plan to be united in marriage on Nov. 6 at St. John Church in Bellaire, and a reception will follow at Wheeling Island Hotel in Wheeling, W.Va.
