Senchak paces Dave Sugar

G.J. Senchak didn’t issue a walk in pitching a seven-strikeout complete game to lead Dave Sugar Excavating past OTN 5-1 in Class B League action Monday at Cene Park.

John McCormick’s two hits netted three RBIs and Ben Murray had two hits, including a double and an RBI. Brent Messett had two hits and scored the lone OTN run when he was driven in by Anthony Lucas.

Paul Indrihovic pitched a one-hit shutout in a five inning game.

Joe Aulizia had two doubles and an RBI and scored twice. Dillon Haviland and Justin Summers also added two hits, two runs scored and an RBI. Justin Vrabel had a two-run double and scored once.

Tommy Quealy had the lone Roth hit.

Action 3, Livi Steel 2

Action got in the win column and Zack Merrell picked up his first win of the season in Class B League action Sunday.

In the third, Mike Riffe knocked in Todd Gaiser and Kory Hopkinson for a 2-1 lead until the seventh when a fielder error allowed Livi to tie score.

1080 Media 5, Sugar 2

Cody Herald and Dane Gecina had RBI singles for Sugar, a pair of doubles from James Coates and Dan Popio enabled 1080 to tie in the bottom of the first.

OTN 4, Express 2

In the bottom of the seventh, Ryan Halicki knocked in the first two runs before Gary Revale’s two-out single pushed across the winning run.

Rondinelli 5, Roth 3

Jake Double’s seventh-inning offense keyed Rondinelli.

Cam Onderko doubled in Brock McGivern, Vince Falconi and Matt Harmon for Roth in the second.

Ryan Gallagher allowed seven hits over seven innings of work to lead Astro.
