Poland Bulldogs 6, Boardman Simco Management 5 — Sonny Lipari pitched seven innings for the win and Ryan Burkert pitched the eighth to get the save. Steven Andrews, Haylin Carlisle and Nick Rizzo had multiple hits for Poland. In the bottom of the eighth, Poland’s Jacob Roemer threw out two runners at the plate where Michael Audi applied the tags. For Simco, Joe Cunningham and Ryan McKeown combined to pitch eight strong innings. Cunningham and Ben Statler had two hits apiece. Mahoning Valley Panthers 7, All-Star Baseball 4 — Matt Lacko and Ryan Angelo combined on the pitching for the Panthers. Steve Balas went 2 for 3 and Dylan Williams added a double to lead the Panthers offense. Christopher Elliott led All-Star with a double. Astro Falcons 7, ACC Xtreme 6 — Michael Turnbull led Astro past with a double and three RBIs. Riley Kollar added a double. Rob Montanari and John Milke each had two hits for Xtreme. Sluggers 9, OTN Red 1 — Ty Wiery had two hits, Greg Strohmeyer had two hits and three RBIs, and Allen Hayes had two hits including a double to lead Sluggers. Zach Miller doubled for OTN Red.

Valley Extreme 14U Blue won the Willoughby Starzz Showcase Tournament by beating Sunraze Black by a score of 7 to 2. During the 20 team tournament Valley Extreme went 7 and 0 and only gave up 10 runs for the weekend. This was the third tournament victory for the Extreme Girls.
