Joe Kaluza family giving back, giving away this weekend

Members of the Kaluza family want to give back to the community.

The family of Joseph Kaluza, the former KFC manager who was shot and paralyzed in March 2008, will have a giveaway from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at 1307 Ivanhoe Ave.

Items available range from toys and clothes to furniture and odds and ends.

All the items are free.

Family members said it’s a way to give back to the community.
