Antique-boat show

The 14th annual Conneaut Lake classic antique-boat show is planned from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ice House Park docks. Awards will be presented at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Featured will be Liberty II and the Miss Conneaut VIII boat, which is undergoing restoration.

Dinner theater

Move Over Broadway Productions Inc. will stage “Monday Always Leads to Murder,” a dinner-theater comedy- mystery, at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Proceeds will benefit St. Michael Family Life Center Building Fund. Tickets are $25; tickets for the show only are $12. Call 330-533-3181 or 330-533-8789.

Roller-coaster rally

The 33rd annual convention of American Coaster Enthusiasts will start Thursday at Conneaut Lake Park and continue for a week. The group will present a monument plaque designating the park’s classic wooden coaster, Blue Streak, as an ACE Roller Coaster Landmark. The group members will ride the famous Blue Streak. They’ll also participate in the Midway Olympics in which teams of five will compete in games such as ring toss and skee ball.

Joint initiative

Six Flags Entertainment, the world’s largest regional theme-park company, and national retailer Wal-Mart Stores Inc. announced a joint initiative that will allow Walmart customers to purchase a four-ticket Six Flags admission package, plus savings on food and attractions for $99.

Throughout June, Walmart customers shopping Wednesdays and Thursdays can use a weekly promotion code on their receipt to register to buy a $99 “Walmart Family Days” package with four tickets to Six Flags on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Customers enter the promotion code found on their Walmart receipt at www.sixflags.com/walmart register and receive an e-mail about package redemption.

TV premiere

VH1 Rock Docs will present the world television premiere of the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival Audience Choice Award documentary, “RUSH: Beyond the Lighted Stage” premiering on VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia at 9 p.m. Saturday.

With a career spanning four decades, RUSH (Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart) is one of the most successful bands in the history of popular music.
