Vows renewed by Peddicords on anniversary

NEW WATERFORD

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peddicord of New Waterford renewed their marriage vows as they celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of their June 14, 1960, wedding on June 12 during a catered picnic at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Tammy Peddicord in New Waterford.

Also hosting the event were their other sons and their wives, Bill and Terry Peddicord and Jeff and Valerie Peddicord, all of New Waterford, and their grandchildren, Shawn, Jason, Tiffany, Nicole and Steve.

During the 4 p.m. renewal ceremony their sons served as groomsmen, and bridesmaids were their daughters-in-law. Their great-granddaughter, Maria Ann, was the flower girl.

Mrs. Peddicord, the former Joyce Boggs, and Mr. Peddicord were both employed at General Motors in Lordstown prior to retiring in 1994.

Mr. Peddicord served in the Army from 1956 to 1959.
