Mr., Mrs. Steck celebrate 50th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Steck of Youngstown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19 during a brunch at Pleasant Grove Church.

Hosts for the festivity were their children and their spouses, Melissa and Michael Dermatas and Cindy and Rob Steck, and their grandchildren, Hannah Dermatas, Nik Dermatas, Celena Dermatas and Tatum Dermatas, and Caleigh Steck and Tyler Steck.

The anniversary also was celebrated during a trip to Florida, where the hosts were Mrs. Steck’s brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Karen Lenz.

The former Suzanne Lenz and Mr. Steck were married June 25, 1960, at Pleasant Grove Church.

Mr. Steck retired as a truck driver in 1997. Mrs. Steck is employed as a parish visitor for the church.
