Miss Wakefield, Mr. Jenyk plan August wedding

YOUNGSTOWN

The engagement of Sarah Wakefield of Youngstown and Jonathan Jenyk of Austintown is announced by her parents, Robert Wakefield and RoseMary Wakefield, both of Youngstown.

The future groom is a son of Joseph and Arlene Jenyk of Brookfield.

The couple have planned an open wedding for 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at St. Christine Church, Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for their evening reception at Tippecanoe Country Club, Canfield.

The bride-to-be is an economic assistant with the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Youngstown and an adjunct economics instructor for Youngstown State University. A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology and a master’s in economics, she attended the University of Leicester in Leicester, England, for a semester as a study-abroad student.

Her fianc earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from YSU, where he is pursuing a master’s in computer information systems and is an administrative assistant of student accounts. He also is the owner/operator of Belleria Pizza in Niles.
