Marinos feted at dinner party on anniversary

The 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. David Marino of Boardman was celebrated during a dinner party for family and friends on May 20 at Caff Capri.

Hosts for the celebration were the couple’s children, David Marino of Atlanta and Michelle Barone of Boardman. There are two grandchildren in the family.

Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Ellwood City was the setting on May 20, 1950, as the former Betty Venturi and Mr. Marino were united in marriage. They are members of Christian Assembly.

Mrs. Marino retired in 2000 from Marino Construction Inc. in Boardman, where her husband was the president prior to retiring in 2005.

Mr. Marino is a Korean War veteran and a past president of the Home Builders Association.
