‘Father’s Journey’ tells of loss, possibilities

Scottsdale, Ariz.

When Barry Kluger’s only child moved to Arizona to join him and his second wife, all seemed perfect. Then in 2001, he experienced every parent’s worst nightmare when 18 year-old Erica died in a car accident near home.

“A Life Undone: A Father’s Journey Through Loss” (iUniverse Inc.), is a no-holds-barred retelling of the highs and lows of Erica’s life and the circumstances preceding her death, as well as how Kluger, a veteran media executive, experienced their relationship and all the varying emotions as he grieved. It opens with a foreword by Elaine Miller Holstein who lost her son, Jeffrey, in the Kent State shootings in May 1970.

To learn more about the book and Kluger, or to order a signed copy, visit ALifeUndone.com. A portion of proceeds raised will benefit the Erica A. Kluger Dance Scholarship at Spotlight Dance Academy and Kluger’s chosen charity, Autism Speaks.
