St. Michael’s hosts dinner theater

Move Over Broadway Productions, Inc. will present “Monday Always Leads to Murder,” a dinner theatre comedy-mystery, Friday, June 26 and 27, on the St. Michael Family Life Center Stage.

Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m, and the play begins at 7:30 p.m.

The story is about Harry Monday, played by Terry Shears, as he tries to solve a murder that took place 20 years ago, while trying to write a play about his career, at the same time. Harry manages to wise-crack his way through a fast-paced, clue strewn mystery.

Denise Sculli plays Pearl, the play’s producer; JoAnne Santagata plays Veronica; John Cox plays Assam Hammadan, the museum curator, and Tom Gent plays Sol Johar, a pawn shop owner. Rounding out the cast are Andy Magusiak, Fr. Terry Hazel and Patti Shears.

“Monday Always Leads to Murder” is under the direction of Marlene Menaldi Strollo. Stage manager is Linda Hathhorn.

This production will benefit the St. Michael Family Life Center Building Fund. Tickets are $25, including a sit-down dinner and the play.

Reservations are required. Dinner choices are beef au jus, baked chicken or fried fish with all the accompaniments, including dessert.

‘Play only’ tickets will be available at the door and are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens.
