Latest homicide victim identified

The city’s latest homicide victim has been identified as Marlon J. Chatman, police reported Friday.

Police were called at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, to 360 West Chalmers Ave., to respond to a shooting.

They found Chatman, 28, in an upstairs bedroom with two gunshot wounds to the leg and a cut over his eye.

Chatman, who did not live in the house, told police that he did not know who shot him.

He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where he later died.
