June 11

Theft: Machelle D. Sydney, 29, of 253 Alameda Ave., Youngstown, was booked at the Mahoning County jail on a warrant from the township charging her.

Identity fraud: A Stadler Avenue man found out his personal information had been used without consent to make him the co-signer of a student loan.

Assault: Authorities charged 55-year-old Carol J. Payne, 6827 Tanglewood Drive, Boardman, after another woman alleged that, while picking up family members, an enraged Payne later struck the accuser’s shoulder with a hand shovel, saying the accuser had parked in and damaged Payne’s yard.

Burglary: Sixty medication tablets and jewelry were taken from an apartment in the 8100 block of Southern Boulevard that someone had entered.

Theft: Two 1-gallon gas cans were removed from a shed in the 100 block of Homestead Drive.

Theft: A $1,000 tailgate was stolen off a truck in the 400 block of Garver Drive.

Arrest: A traffic stop near Market Street led to the arrest of 42-year-old Tracey C. Warner, 4611 Market, Boardman. Warner was wanted by Trumbull County authorities on a contempt-of-court charge.

Theft: Two 14-karat rings were stolen from a residence in the 8100 block of Southern Boulevard.

Weapon: Officers investigated suspicious activity in the 7000 block of Market Street, then charged 21-year-old Timothy S. Wilkinson II, 5276 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, with a felony count of receiving stolen property after saying he had a stolen .22-caliber firearm. Also arrested was Ricardo Gonzalez Jr., 20, of 5396 Bye Road, East Palestine, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrest: A township girl, 16, faced charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and being an unruly juvenile after her mother told officers the girl had the accuser’s car and failed to return home.

Harassment: A Brookwood Road man reported receiving 60 unwanted calls and more than 30 text messages daily over a three-day period.

Theft/criminal damaging: Two glass globes stolen from a yard in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Avenue were found broken in a wooded area.

Burglary: In the 200 block of Meadowbrook Avenue. Twenty Xbox games, an Xbox system and perfume were taken.

Theft/weapon: A Youngstown boy, 16, was charged with theft, criminal trespassing and carrying a concealed weapon and released to the custody of his mother after a theft at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive. He also had a folding knife, a report said.

Theft: A stereo faceplate and a pair of reading glasses were missing from a vehicle in the 7000 block of West Boulevard.

Theft: A $3,000 necklace and a gold bracelet were stolen from an apartment in the 7300 block of West Boulevard.

Domestic violence: William A. Rivers, 19, of 122 Nevada Ave., Boardman, and a 15-year-old township boy were charged. A family member alleged the boy had intentionally struck him with a tractor, though he was not injured; Rivers was accused of placing the boy in a chokehold and tossing him to the ground.

June 12

Theft: Someone took $98 from a home in the 6700 block of Tippecanoe Road.

Burglary: A key was used to enter an apartment in the 3900 block of South Schenley Avenue, from which $160 was stolen.

Domestic violence: Lisa R. Woodley, 40, of 6063 Applecrest Court, was charged after her husband alleged that during an argument, Woodley had struck him with a metal candle holder. Police saw the accuser bleeding from several cuts to his left forearm, a report showed.

Vandalism: Someone threw stones and damaged two double-pane windows on a vacant piece of property in the 400 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.

Breaking and entering: Through a basement window to a vacant home in the 4700 block of Southern Boulevard. Taken was an estimated $15,000 worth of copper pipes.

Arrest: Police apprehended a 15-year-old boy, 6634 Ron Joy Place, Boardman, and charged him with criminal mischief and obstructing official business after saying he was one of six or seven people who fled after having tampered with several traffic signs near Glendale and Rockdale avenues.

June 13

Theft: Spare change was removed from two vehicles parked in the 1900 block of Sequoya Drive.

Criminal damaging: A 2-inch scratch was found on a car in the 300 block of Boardman-Poland Road.

Trespassing: Thomas N. Trolio, 32, of 3321 Powers Way, Youngstown, faced a criminal-trespassing charge after an employee of a Boardman-Poland Road restaurant reported he was on the property, despite his having been issued a warning from police to stay away.

Assault: Authorities responded to a South Avenue business and found a man bleeding in the parking lot after he had been punched and possibly knocked unconscious.

June 14

Theft: Ronisha Harris, 21, of 42 S. Evanston Ave., Youngstown, was accused in the theft of seven cosmetics from Walmart.

Arrest: Christine M. Sennett, 33, of 204 Perry St., Struthers, was picked up in the 4200 block of Stratford Road on a warrant from Campbell charging her with telephone harassment.

Identity theft: A Leighton Avenue woman learned her credit card had been used to buy gifts in Jamaica.

Harassment: A worker with a Boardman-Poland Road eatery reported getting eight such calls.

Theft: Rodney D. Freed, 47, of 5095 Clayton Circle, New Castle, Pa., was accused of stealing a TV from Walmart, and was picked up on a warrant charging him.
