Day camps offer youth summer adventure

Boardman Park is currently taking applications for Adventure Day Camp which starts Monday and ends Aug. 13.

Children ages 6 through 12 can stay active during the summer. The program focuses on arts and crafts, team building, theatre, science and sports.

The goal of the camp is to offer young minds the opportunity to explore their imagination, discover physical fitness, expand their knowledge of sports and develop a growing sense of adventure through diverse activities.

The Adventure Camp will run in four sessions, June 21 through July 2, July 5 through July 16, July 19 through July 30 and Aug. 2 through Aug. 13.

The camp hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Arrangements can be made for early or late pick-up.

You may pick up your registration packet at the park office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online at boardmanpark.com.
