Date announced for Hugenberg, Karzen wedding

The engagement of Jenny Hugenberg and Jeff Karzen, both of Chicago, and plans for their upcoming marriage are announced by their parents.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Laura and Greg Spey of Poland, and parents of the future groom are Ron and Marilyn Karzen of Evanston, Ill.

The couple have planned a wedding for 5 p.m. July 10 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception to follow at the Davis Center, also in the park.

The bride-to-be graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in English education. She is a teacher at Lincoln Junior High School in Skokie, Ill.

The prospective groom is a communications coordinator with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in Chicago. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University.
