UPDATE: Bear sighted in Boardman

Reports of bear sightings in the area continued today when Boardman Police spied this black bear near South Avenue and Mathews Road.

A bear has been spotted in Boardman and Poland.

Vindicator photographer William Lewis shot this photo and even shot video of what ODNR officials believe is a young male roaming the area in search of territory – and companionship.
