Chuck Schiffhauer threw a five-inning perfect game for Roth Brothers on June 7. Schiffhauer had five strikeouts against 15 batters. Tom Clayton had a home run, triple and single for Roth, while Rob Tamburro had a three-run double as part of Roth’s nine-hit attack.

Josh Tedesco and Schiffauer combined for a two-hitter for Roth Brothers in a 5-0 win over Yanek Chiropractic on May 30. Tyler Robinson had a triple and single for Roth, while Brian Palmer and Adam Wilaj had a hit apiece for Yanek.

In a late Monday game, Ryan Gallagher pitched a one-hitter for Astros. After hitting a single in the first inning, Josh Gore scored on Ronnie Bovo’s double, then Gore gave the Astros the lead in the second inning. Gallagher pitched 52/3 innings before allowing his first hit to G.J. Senchak.

Wharmby 4, Livi Steel 3

STRUTHERS

Wharmby scored twice early when David Saluga knocked in Jim Dobran and Tyler Gentile knocked in Jason Burkes. Wharmby then added two runs in the fifth — first when Tyler Gentile doubled and scored, then when Chris Miller scored on a suicide squeeze by Mike Hartman. Jay Williams knocked in the first of Livi’s two runs before a double steal scored Ralph Testa. Dom DeFelice threw a strikeout to end a bases-loaded threat by Livi in the bottom of the seventh.
