Quilting expert will visit Valley

AUSTINTOWN

Pat Knoechel of California, an author, teacher and expert quilter, and the sister of Eleanor Burns of the “Quilt in a Day” books and TV series, will appear from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 21 at Idaho Road Alliance Church, 255 Idaho Road.

Knoechel will have her quilt books and merchandise for sale and will autograph items after the show. A $5 donation includes a quilt trunk show, quilting demonstration, lunch and door prizes.

Stitching Sisters of Austintown will be accepting applications for membership to their quilt group. For more information, call 330-793-9570.
