On ‘Dexter’

Julia Stiles has signed on for 10 episodes of Showtime’s “Dexter,” playing a mysterious woman who forms a “unique” relationship with Dexter of the clean hands and black heart. Stiles said she attended a professional children’s school. “I always wanted to be an actress, but as a kid I wanted to be everything. I wanted to be a lawyer and a politician and an actress and a dancer and a rock star. I pursued acting but never envisioned, like, a long-term career.”
