1 dead, 1 hurt in western Pa. carjacking


DUQUESNE, Pa. (AP) — Police are looking for eight men believed to be involved in a deadly carjacking outside Pittsburgh.

Allegheny County police said the group of men opened fire on two people in a sport utility vehicle in the pre-dawn hours Wednesday near an after-hours club in Duquesne.

Two victims were hit. Police said one was killed, the other was shot in the leg and is being treated at a hospital.

Investigators said dozens of shots were fired.

Police are looking for a silver Mercury Mountaineer that was stolen during the robbery.
