Summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

June 7

Drug abuse: Police arrested Johnny Stewart, 19, of 15075 Ellsworth Road, Berlin Center, on charges of drug abuse, drup paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon after his arrest at Fairway Ford, 366 W. Main St. He had a bag of suspected marijuana, a quantity of pills, rolling papers and black metal knuckles and silver metal knuckles in his possession, police said.

June 10

Warrant: Police arrested Andrea Brown, 31, of 4597 Michigan Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant alleging cruelty to animals.

Fraud: Piccadilly Parlor, 114 S. Broad St., reported unauthorized charges to the owner’s business/personal debit card.

Barking dog: Police arrested Louis Sammarco, 42, of 48 Willow Bend Drive, Canfield, on a citation for a barking or howling dog.

June 11

Stolen trailer plate: The owner of a trailer came to pick it up at Mobile Automotive, 374 Newton St., and reported the license plate missing.

Drug abuse: Police charged Eric Penick, no age listed, 9705 Egypt Road, Salem, with drug abuse after his arrest on East Main Street on possession of a bag of suspected marijuana.

June 12

Warrant, drug abuse: Police arrested John Clarke, 23, of 809 Park Harbour Drive, Boardman, in the city on possession of pills, carrying a concealed weapon and on a warrant for failure to appear.

Criminal trespass: Police charged Melissa Paterchak, 44, of 36 Southwoods Ave., Boardman, with criminal trespass after she was at a home in the 500 block of Shadydale Drive.

June 7

Theft: Police issued a summons to Michele Hall, 37, of 99-A East Taggart St., East Palestine, in a theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $25.26 in fuel was stolen at the Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.

Menacing: A threatening text message was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Brandomyne Avenue.

Theft: Police charged Bobby Woodall, 27, who listed addresses in Jacksonville, Ala., and Canfield, with theft after his arrest at Walmart.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Johnathan Netroe, 33, of 1220 Paxton St. SW, Warren, and Coy Slusher, 48, same address, in a theft at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

June 8

Warrant: Police arrested Andrew Sarna III, 31, of 30 Douglas Drive, Campbell, on warrants charging traffic violations at Interstate 80 and North Meridian Road.

Breaking and entering: A drain snake and circular saw were taken from a maintenance garage of Central Park West apartments, 4661 Woodhurst Blvd.

Theft: A woman’s wallet was stolen at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A mailbox was taken at a home in the 600 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A Yorkie dog was taken from a home in the 90 block of Idlewood Road.

Theft: A GPS was taken from an auto parked in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Telephone harassment: An unwanted telephone call was reported at a home in the 30 block of Evans Avenue.

Theft: Vicodin was reported stolen from a home in the 60 block of Westminster Avenue.

Assault: A man is accused of assault at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church parking lot, 4470 Norquest Boulevard.

Theft: A GPS was taken from an auto parked at a home in the 2000 block of Oak Trace Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle gas cap was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Cannon Road.

Theft: Money was taken from Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Warrant: Police arrested David Atwell, 33, of 5335 Argonne Drive, Austintoiwn on a warrant charging him with burglary.

Theft: A package was reported stolen at an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

June 10

Criminal damaging: Vehicle tires and a rear window were damaged at a home in the 20 block of North Wickliffe Circle.

Menacing: A man is accused of stalking a victim at a home in the 400 block of Westminster Avenue.

Theft: $38.72 in fuel was taken at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: Damage at a door and frame was reported in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet was reported missing at Walmart.

Drug offense: Police charged Thomas J. Wilson, 23, of 2189 Woodgate St., with drug abuse after his arrest on South Raccoon Road.

Theft: Police charged Tamica Turner, 29, of 4851 Westchester Drive, Apt. 105, with theft and drug abuse of marijuana.

Theft: A victim accused a woman of stealing money at an ATM machine at Home Savings, 4259 Kirk Road.

June 11

Theft: $5,449 was stolen from a truck owned by Albert Guanieri Inc. after its window was broken at Arby’s, 4440 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: A woman is accused of fraud at a home in the 3000 block of Starwick Avenue.

Theft: A wallet, credit cards and cash were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Avenue.

Aggravated menacing: A man told police he was a victim of aggravated menacing at Phoenix House.

Breaking and entering: A fence was cut at American Auto, 89 Maple Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 60 block of North Main Street.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made over the phone at a home in the 400 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Telephone harassment: Unwanted calls were made to a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: An iPod was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Avenue.

Drug offense: Police charged Angel Revis, 24, of 6400 Johnson Road, Lowellville, with possession of marijuana after his arrest at South Raccoon and Burkey roads.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Michael Rodriguez, 19, of 613 Lee St., Youngstown, for drug abuse of marijuana after his arrest at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Sterling Smith, 26, of 7889 Indian Trail, Poland, for drug abuse of marijuana after his arrest at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Aggravated robbery: Two male teenagers were arrested after police said they stole property at gunpoint at a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Drug offense: Police charged Jacob Peterson, 19, of 3418 Sandalwood Lane with possession of marijuana after his arrest at Monaca and Allendale avenues.

Drug offense: Police charged Steven Mikitan, 26, of 166 Homestead Drive, Youngstown, with possession of marijuana after his arrest at the Wedgewood Plaza, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Assault: A 15-year-old was assaulted by a man at a home in the 4000 block of Viall Road.

June 12

Burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Warrant: Police charged Ali Muhammad, 34, of 1655 Midland Ave., Youngstown, with aggravated menacing and possession of marijuana after his arrest in the parking lot of Club Gossip, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: Police arrested Joseph Czap, no age or address listed, after a pursuit at B&I Management, 4661 New Hampshire Circle. He is charged with breaking and entering.

Theft: Police arrested a teen boy after a theft at Walmart.

Vehicle theft: A 1993 Chevrolet Astro van was stolen and used in a breaking-and-entering crime at S&C Auto Sales, 3733 Mahoning Ave.

Tobacco offense: Two juveniles were issued a summons after their arrest at state Route 46 and Mahoning Avenue.

Menacing: A woman reported receiving threats at a home in the 5000 block of Pine Shadow Court.

June 13

Theft: A cell phone was stolen at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

Theft: A wallet, credit cards and cash were stolen from an auto parked in the driveway of a home in the 1000 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet was reported lost or stolen in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
